I don't think it would be difficult for tourists to get what they like in Amsterdam regardless of any new laws. Amsterdam is one of the greatest cities on Earth. We love the atmosphere of this beautiful village.
@420LoveJah i'm dutch, and i read in the newspaper that all weed with thc percent above 15 is considered hard drugs now, so its illegal, even in amsterdam. and i doubt that they'll give you some when its illegal, cause if someone finds out they'll close the whole shop, same rule goes for selling to underaged people. but there is no way that law is going to pass, cause 10,000's of people come to amsterdam every year to smoke.

Has anyone heard that the Dutch goverment is trying to pass a law that coffeeshops can only sell to residents? I would guess one would have to show ID like at a bar to buy. Maybe they had too many foreigners buying weed and acting stupid so they are tightening the reigns.Not sure if it will pass or not, or if its even true. I heard about it on a news program so must be more than a rumor

Many countrys inside the European union are unhappy with the dutch policy. Thats why the previous goverment made a little evil plan. They are trying to ilegalize it again, To start off with that they would first cut off the sales towards the foreigners, then make it harder on us dutchies to buy it ( For example: plans to note every buyer ).

These guys at this shop were professional. As the video indicates their shop is much more modern. The cheese was excellent. The prices were competitive with the other shops. Not sure what the concept of the bouncer outside was, lol Not too many people gonna get crazy blowing weed. But again friendly staff and professional.

They always have some nice strains like "Ace", "White Widow", and "Cheese" which I believe is skunk. I haven't come across some real Kush in Amsterdam, but I'm always on the lookout for it. Greenhouse has some Kush on the menu, I think it was not bad, but not a true Top Shelf Kush. We use priceline for a good hotel in the center. Have a good

However, on my last couple of trips to Amsterdam in this past year I noticed that the "Cheese" they have there is not pure but a mixed strain with some afghani males thrown in. This is happening here in the UK too. Very soon we won't have any pure cheese strain left. Someone should sneek a couple of seeds to the Norweigan seed bank in the north pole :D future prosperity and so on....

@yoitsme89 I like to book online. I use Priceline to get a 4 or 5 star hotel in the city center. You can also check betterbidding to see what fellow travelers are bidding for their hotels in Amsterdam.
@yoitsme89 For spending money it really depends on how much herbs you will need, if you choose to eat in restaurants etc.. I would say generally speaking about 200 euros will be good for 2 days.
the cheese from the dampkring is some of the best ive tried in amsterdam. great shop, check also the greenhouse and barneys( both in the same street) also the grey area

@peteftwomg That's a tough one my friend. I think it's different for everyone. Trial and error is probably the only way to discover for yourself, but maybe others can share their experiences.
@peteftwomg I'd liketo add my opinion to your depression question. In my opinion, as much of a great plant cannabis is, I just don't think its right for treating depression. I'm no expert mind you.
Although, if you're looking for sometihng to relieve the symptoms of depression, a good sativa would be your best bet. A good super silver haze, super lemon haze, etc.
@peteftwomg Well, i have depression. I also used quite alot drugs recreationally. For me, weed doesn't help. My best advice is to stay as sober as you can and take your meds (if you're on any).
Contradiction in terms mate. Anti depressents are really bad for you they change your brain chemistry. Although weed won't help depression either in my opinion. The best cure? Get out there and do somthing, get your teeth stuck in to somthing your good at.
When you feel better about yourself smoke a joint at the end of a day and reflect.

I have just got back from Amsterdam. I would recommend so far Dampkring as my favourite coffeeshop The cappuccinos are lovely and super silver haze was superb at €11 a gram. Barney's done a nice White Widow for €10 a gram.
@philsaspiezone It's not so expensive in the rest of holland. That's the problem in Amsterdam because the foreigners will buy it anyway. In the rest of the netherlands is it not so expensive.

@yoitsme89 I like to book online. I use Priceline to get a 4 or 5 star hotel in the city center. You can also check betterbidding to see what fellow travelers are bidding for their hotels in Amsterdam.

@yoitsme89 For spending money it really depends on how much herbs you will need, if you choose to eat in restaurants etc.. I would say generally speaking about 200 euros will be good for 2 days.

the cheese from the dampkring is some of the best ive tried in amsterdam. great shop, check also the greenhouse and barneys( both in the same street) also the grey area

@peteftwomg I'd liketo add my opinion to your depression question. In my opinion, as much of a great plant cannabis is, I just don't think its right for treating depression. I'm no expert mind you.
Although, if you're looking for sometihng to relieve the symptoms of depression, a good sativa would be your best bet. A good super silver haze, super lemon haze, etc.

@peteftwomg Well, i have depression. I also used quite alot drugs recreationally. For me, weed doesn't help. My best advice is to stay as sober as you can and take your meds (if you're on any).

Contradiction in terms mate. Anti depressents are really bad for you they change your brain chemistry. Although weed won't help depression either in my opinion. The best cure? Get out there and do somthing, get your teeth stuck in to somthing your good at.
When you feel better about yourself smoke a joint at the end of a day and reflect.

It was my first hollandweed ever and it is so so good.
It's smells like,damn you never smelled weed like this.

I have just got back from Amsterdam. I would recommend so far Dampkring as my favourite coffeeshop The cappuccinos are lovely and super silver haze was superb at €11 a gram. Barney's done a nice White Widow for €10 a gram.

@philsaspiezone It's not so expensive in the rest of holland. That's the problem in Amsterdam because the foreigners will buy it anyway. In the rest of the netherlands is it not so expensive.

it's really annoying. im 17, and i really want to go! i buy all the time in the uk, but its not the same. hash is hard to find, so is really decent bud. it is nice when there is some strong stuff round, but norm just mediocre ganja. only turned 17 on monday so i have to wait for a fucking year before i can go! still, gonna open up a saving account and start getting money together. if i plan for longer, that way i can make sure i have loads of money and can stay there for 2 weeks!

have my one stable Jack Hammer, (Amnesian x Jack H), I prefer a strong sativa, but hey, have to sleep sometimes. like to smoke some "afghan/skunk" or La C sometimes aswell. But I am reallt dissepointed in those false commersiel coffeshops, seedsellers who not know a different bitwin Indica and Sativadominant?! And this is an example, they dont know that they talking about.. Dont put your money in comersial production. there is guidelines..Buddha still around:)

I`ve been 5 times in Amsterdam.
I just want to say. The Damprking is the most professional coffeshop. They got so many strains and so much different hash (esp. the rifhash). And even the cheap strains like jack herrer or amnesia skunk are really really high grade
