Is it possible to tell us where is this zoo ? it's terrible for keepers and for animals........I don't believe what I see ............to beat an animal on the snout.............and what they will do when they took the animal out of eyes ?
It is incredible to see an animal typing the snout. If this animal is dangerous the trainers do not have to enter unprotected and should be warned of the dangers incurred in ........ which is this zoo without knowing how to make? A shame

I don't get some people's logic on here, apparently it's the deer's safety over the human whom is bleeding profusely from her neck after getting attacked. I've never worked in a zoo so I don't know what would have been the proper approach and I can assume that maybe this wasn't it, however, they were not hitting the deer THAT hard with the shovel otherwise he would have been knocked out. If this were you getting attacked, would you worry about whether the animal gets hurt or you? Get real people
I think if they were at least sensible to use the darts to drowse them... so sad, the lady got really hurt at the neck.... they could either tried tying the dear to the tree with some rope... uff, they being with animal started behaving the animal ways with little brains...
@pelotedelaine77 this is in antwerp-belgium. they let the deer in a cage, once the keepers where safe, they let it back with the rest
