Question: Did you get the inspiration for Soosiz from the Super Mario Bros. levels in Wario Ware: Twisted? I thought those levels were just ingenious, coming from Nintendo's experimental phase (DS, Wii), and I've never understood why nobody ever tried to create a full 2D platformer based on that style. I really liked how Nintendo used motion control for movement; all you had to do was tilt your Gameboy Advance, leaving only one button for jumping. Anyway, congrats on your great videogame!
thumbs up if you think this is the best platform game app in iTunes (and it's free! hurry up while it's free!).
this is the kind of game that is very soothing and very relaxing game to play. it's very laidback. kind of reminds me of super mario. super cute!
i wanted to be a video game developer someday, and this game is one of the many games that inspire me to be successful in video games. touchfoo, can i work with you someday? haha! good job with this game, touchfoo! i'll give you that! :)
@VastedCouth We are still working, hard. Our upcoming game has been in development since the beginning of the year. Hopefully we will have some teasers to show within a few months. Making games is slow.. :)
Level 66 is a beast, but i finally made it. Soosiz is a great game- probably the best game for the ipod / iphone. Lots of fun, great design, challenging gameplay, great controls... Certainly my fav. Second-best 2D game ever made!
This is not true. The original idea comes from a PC version of Soosiz that was created over a year before the release of Frozzd. There is one other gravity-defying game that gave us some inspiration and that is Super Mario Galaxy for Wii.
You are not looking hard enough. It can still be found on Google even though it was never meant to be released for the public. It was created for a Finnish game competition in the summer of 2006. Frozzd had nothing to do with our game development process and it's not like it is the first of its kind. (Super Mario Galaxy, wink wink)
If Frozzd really was behind our inspiration, we wouldn't be ashamed of admitting it. As Steve Jobs himself has said: "Good Designers Copy, Great Designers Steal."
Man best game, No app, on iTunes. Buy it now, you will not regret it. I have already been playing this for awhile already and let me tell you: It's great. At first I thought it was a Rolando clone, so I took a risk, and man did it pay off. Please make a sequel of Soosiz if posible in the future and give the Hero a name:
I love the Universal/disney song in this where you would find outside in their theme park, such a breathtaking song, i just wish i could say the same about all the songs, but they do the job and i have logged over 4hours on soosiz and im halfway through and its great. It gets really hard but still manageable after a few tries on each level to get the hang of the new gameplay element introduced
Thank you for your comments! The game has been submitted to Apple and it has been in the review for about two weeks now. It will come out as soon as it is approved.
This game is awesome

This looks to me like a rip of Frozzd...
The gameplay is the same, you go around collecting miniature versions of yourself, And jump through planets.

I beg to differ, Not to mention this "PC version" is seemingly nonexistent.
