I was in college (1977-I think) when this album came out. I borrowed it from a girl down the hall and played it so much, I had to replace the album in order to return it to her. Thanks for sharing.
talented musicians simply arent put in the spotlight anymore not unless they are spineless and thier image fits into the grave of fame that the label has predug for 'the next big thing" most all the talent is back underground, but just because it's "invisible" doesnt mean its fallen off the face of the earth I sometimes wonder if beautiful music was more nutured and shared under the patronage system than it is today....
this song makes you stop and think about what is important in life, friends and family. if you don t have them you have nothing. this song cuts you to the core and touches your heart and soul. thanks so much for posting
Although ive always been a fan of (good) Hip Hop. Artists like James Taylor always made such uplifting songs that its brought tears to my eyes, and bigger sense of hope.
My all time favorite cut by JT. This song endures forever especially in these troubled economic times!!!!!!! Thanks so much for posting this...I LOVE you :D
This 1976 pop song is truly one of my favorites from this talented singer/songwriter/composer, every time I hear this it always makes me think of people I miss who are now gone, and it always reminds me to show the people that I am still fortunate to have in my life, my love for them. If this song doesn't tap into your soul, then your soul is broken, get it fixed fast, life is too short, this is just simply a 70's pop classic that will never go out of style, it's timeless.
When I was a 17 year old apprentice at a Sasson type Salon I wanted a Management position...I was told to Manage by Example, when he saw my actions were changes the actions of those around me i was promoted. I will always remember that. :-) Thanks,Bernard
Damn man, without music in my life I would have a cell next to Manson. Gotta admit, Wilson Phillips Hold on For One More Day helped a little too.

This one's probably my favorite by James Taylor. Lyrics are so powerful. ♪♫ "Better to shower the people you love with love

Things are gonna be just fine if you only will

Today's music is not music. It's only music because they say it is. You can take the stupidest music in the world and it could hit platinum.

Because today's artists, if you can call them that, SUCK. It's like talent just fell off the face of the earth.
