in micronesia we live of this stuff. we have many ways of preparing it. ever tried a pounded bread fruit wrapped in banana leaves. mahn it is tha best!!ever tried a riped bread fruit cooked over a fire and peeled to enjoy. ever tried it after pounding it and then top it off with coconut milk?? whoow its tha best mahn. im not sure if tha origin of this fruit really comes from poly!!!all i kno is its native to us also!!
Thats Interesting yes They originate from the French polynesia Islands and probably all South pacific Islands. I only tried it the Jamaican
way Steamed Fried Boiled roasted or baked.
I love that stuff even though it feels like it sticks in your throat sometimes. Wish could get Breadfruit on the west coast here but they dont import it.

Bake it and then slice and fry or cut up and boil in a soup like potato be carefull not to swallow big chunks
its hard to go down and you need to drink something when you eat it
