How do you get good at drawing with out copying? I mean seriously, you never really get that good if all you draw is stuff from your head, anyway, they are awesome for a 12 year old.

I don't understand what people are annoyed about, there's nothing wrong with re-drawing something... we do that a lot in my art majors class, it's just something fun to do. you can tell it's not traced too, if it were traced, the proportions would be correct, but for a 12-year-old, that's a really good re-drawing

maybe you should be quiet and let her do what she wants. Swearing at her wont make a difference to any body, it just makes you look like a fool. At least she didn't take credit for the character creation. Copying other styles is gaining experience and skills. Then she can go on to making her own characters. I believe this is "Fan art" not copyright.

Don't listen to idiots like her/him. I think they are good wether you copied them or not. Tracing is a different matter, if you traced then you should really give proper credit to the artists who made the characters
