Those moments of clarity happen to me all the time. I have bipolar as well. I go from thinking everything is going to turn out just fine and sometimes hours later I'm depressed again. I'm heavily medicated. I honestly feel like all it does it keep my head above water. But people like pete give me hope for the future.

This is definitely not attention seeking. Only somebody who has actually experienced depression would describe it as paralysing and immobilising. An attention seeker would be going on about how sad and alone they were. He's describing everything I'm going through.

just because he didn't have a hard life doesn't  mean that he's only looking for attention. people suffer from depression form internal conflicts too. self hate issues or feelings of anger and loneliness cause people to become depressed and suicidal.everyone who's judging him is a hypocrite because we all go through rough patches in our lives.

There really dosen't seem to be any real struggles in his life. He's just trying to get attention even though he super hot! I love Fall Out Boy, thank you very much, and I have every single one of their songs on my ipod!!!!! :) Oh and you didnt need to start somthing with me just because of a stupid comment that i posted a MONTH ago!!!!! There isn't really a direct link between having a difficult life and having depression or bi-polar disorder :/ it isn't necessary to have one to get the other.

And whilst generally yes, Pete can be a mediawhore at times, him talking about his suicide attempt on a website to promote mental wellbeing for students (where this vid was originally posted) isn't, i don't think, one of them.

I know someone who went to a psycologist and lied, what else can you do. If you tell them what your really thinking I would imagine its very hard to have the energy to deal with what you have to do to hopefully make things work, when your that exhuasted with everything.

it must suck feeling isolated and like you have no one to talk to when your feeling depressed and like nothing you do matters, or like you couldnt go to therapy becuase you where jsut lieing and like ugh it must be so complicated. these videos almost make me cry because i aboslutley love pete, and if i knew him, he could have talked to me and be honest with me and i would do everything i can to prevent him from hurtig himself! i really feel for him!! <33

regardless of what anyone has to say negetive about him, he's been through a lot and doesn't deserve to be ridiculed for being "gay" and being in a "boy band" (evn though fall out boy isnt, they're amazing)
