@PakkProductions It ensures your paste is rolled out to the same thickness all over, and can save a lot of time. Without them it can take a little time to get the thickness you want by eye and you could have areas that are thicker/thinner than other parts.
@stonkawonka it could be called petal paste. You could use gumpaste or mexican paste, any edible paste that will roll thin and dry really hard (makes a snap when broken)
