  • The closing date for 2010 was the beginning of march buy it was full by the end of December 09. so if anybody is intersted in future years be sure to get your application in very eary. I was too late this year.

  • I'm guessing not a lot of smokers do this!?!

  • Not many smokers in the race, no - but there'll be plenty of ale downed afterwards.

  • really cool, anyone who likes this should try reading "feet in the clouds" by Richard Askwirth, it's about fell running and really inspiring. "Not for southern softies"...pffft

  • Awsome . . . I am a veteran trail runner and ultramarathoner in the past six years. Fell running is clearly where it is at. We used to take off crosscountry when I lived in Washington State and Alaska. Most of the Hawaiian landscape does not lend itself well to this approach, except maybe the barren lava. I look forward to an event in the N. Pennies someday. Cheers!

  • Thanks for a great vid. Just started fell running and this is spot on for putting me in the mood! I'll watch it one more time then I think I'll go out for a run over the moors. Great music!

  • Fantastic event, but bloody cold! I was there in 302nd position near the back. The video almost does justice to the weather. There were a few southern softies in the race though.
