@Roserouse96 it's from Virginia Astley's 1983 album "Promise Nothing". Her works (i.e. From Gardens Where We Feel Secure, Hope in a Darkened Heart..) is beyond description. Lyrically, like here she set a Wilfred Owen poem to beautiful music..

It's years since I heard this. I'd forgotten who sung it, but just typed in "Futility" and "Owen" hoping it might come up. A haunting and truly beautiful song-makes me shiver.
