Notice how no one is commanded to sell their children as slaves, etc. These things are rules if these things go down, nevertheless, God is not commanding to do them (to even have slaves). I haven't looked much into it, but as an example, Exodus 21:16 speaks against the way we took people from Africa as slaves; see also 1 Timothy 1:8-11, verse 10 in particular.

@BradSSFL Also, something to explain: men can't come to God. You say we aren't responsible. However, why can't men come to God? It's because we WON'T come to God, by our own nature. @MrEnlightenup No, the Old Covenant is true, though not everything in it applies to us any longer. Notice how no one is commanded to sell their children as slaves, etc. These things are rules if these things go down, nevertheless, God is not commanding to do them (to even have slaves). Have you ever looked at the instructions for slaves/servants in the New Covenant?

@MrEnlightenup Also, another thing is to consider what exactly is being spoken of. There is a difference between slaves and servants, as far as I understand. I haven't looked much into it, but as an example, Exodus 21:16 speaks against the way we took people from Africa as slaves; see also 1 Timothy 1:8-11, verse 10 in particular.

If you earned salvation through your choice, you have something to boast about: you are better than other men in the sense that you choose to be more humble and in essence, then you are more righteous than other men and it's how you got saved. You weren't saved by grace then, but because you were humble.
Instead, God is the one who changes the evil heart of a man and makes it new; He makes man a new creation. He makes us want Him.

Plenty of God loving, sincere, obedient, servants go swimming but they don't let thar rule their lives and they don't let it stand in the way of serving God or serving His people. They don't let swimming consume them. Unfortunately many people do let video games consume them.

Whether or not you believe in God, or in Hell, does not change the fact that they exist and are real. Belief in a fact does not change that fact. Scientists can go count their billions of this and that, and believe in the idea that they evolved from a puddle of snot, it makes no difference. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess.

The fact is we evolved. There is no god and likely never a jesus like the one in the bible. Its a shame that people can't seem to let go of 2000 year old thinking. Its really a form of cowardice. Can't seem to face reality. As though facing it will give a different outcome to the head in the sand mentality. Reality is not scary.

If everything came together by random then there is no truth and no purpose for anything because there is no First Cause, no Ontic Referent.
