I don't think that Religious Metal always rapes the music, there are some awesome Religious bands, unfortunately, the best bands are usually the most underground and the sucky bands get the exposure. That happens in all forms of music tho. I personally recommend Extol's "Undeceived" and Antestor's "The Forsaken" for examples of good quality Metal created by Christians.
