wow. im drinking a glass of brandy and just reliving this experience. i went woodstock and has a broken leg so i was on crutches with a knee high cast. i got the bootleg of the metallica performance. at the time i ate drank and shat metallica. this truly was one of the all time great metallica shows
I think their best performance was ...And Justice For All at AJFA in 1989. It was just awesome when Lady Liberty collapsed on stage, not to mention Justice is one of Metallica's best songs, if not their BEST song.
when you watch james it doesnt even look like he is actually playing the guitar. i think kirk plays all the live shows and james just sings and pretends.
At this point in their career you can really see how the crowd started stroking their egos. Lars basically gets a standing applause just for being mentioned. If I was James I woulda said "don't cheer hes a faggot."
@SuperWolf3d cause he had a side project with a band called echobrain and james didnty like it...it aws 2000 justr before st anger..and quite frankly im glad jasons gone
i remember going to a record store when i was 13 and living in Peru and hearing this song from the woodstock 94 performance and jizzing in my pants imagining how it would be to be at one of their shows... 10 years later i see them live for the first time in Orlando, FL. and more jizz.
I wouldn't call it the best live performannce of Bellz...Day on the green, Cisco, 1985 with Cliff. Kirk had some problem with his guitar at the first solo, so that's one thing why I think that' not really a good performance of Bellz.
@SuperDictionar Cliff got crushed by a 2-ton bus and hes not coming back. that was 24 years ago. get over it. this song needs whoever is Metallicas bassist at the time and as of now its Trujillo.
92% of teenagers have turned to Hip Hop and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos.
this isnt the best performance of it, the one with cliff burton off cliff em all is so much better... i think someone's said it already, but it needs saying again lol
And then after that, Metallica just fell apart. They started a new album without a bassist. Then James went to rehab because of alcoholism. Came back a year later and the entire group was in psychiatric therapy while they made St. Anger. Then in 2003, they got a new bassist, toured for St. Anger. And then they lived happily ever after lol.
Nah, wen they play seek at the very end of the night, and youve got Whiplash in your neck frm moshin nd head bangin, and you tryin to shout at the top of your luns "Seaarchiiiiin'!" But nothn will come out cuz youve sang along with every other word of the concert....
the live version of this song at cliff em all with the bass solo from cliff is their best live performance in my opinion no other bassist who ever lived or ever will live can match cliff
Whoa. Larz actually played it at a tempo more like the studio version, which was much slower than how I usually hear him play this song live. Cool! Soundz f**kin' great!
what about EnterSandman at Sofia 2011? THAT WAS AWESOME!

Hello there fellow metalheads.
Instead of a Metal rebellion i propose a new plan.
1. Don't bash other metal artists, we need to unite. We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together.
2. Watch more and other metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list
3. Instead of bashing pop, promote metal with logical reasons, not just "METAL RULES!"
If you like this idea, thumbs it up JUST so people can see it, and also spread it around if you like this idea
