This a tribute. I've served in Iraq, and I'm going to Afghanistan very soon. Video's like this serve a purpose, and that purpose is to put a face on the high price we are paying for what we are doing over there. This video honors them, what they do, and their memory. It's sad, and it brings a tear to a person's eye just to watch it. These people are the kind of people our kids should idolize, not some greedy sports professional that only does for himself. May they rest in peace.

Those aren't stingers. They're old soviet-made shoulder fired surface to air missiles. They are buried in caches all over al-Anbar, most likely from the USSR's support of Iraq during the war with Iran. Sux, I know.

now i am not a patriotic person at all but this is not right. now i know in war there are casualties. i also know that this is probably to decrease the US armed forces morale, but an attack on a med evac chopper isn't right. with no way to defend themselves its like watching a croc hunt a small child. i applaud Cpt.
