This is a performance in front of crowd and not a dressage test. These are all breeding stallions and they only have worked together a few times doing this. The horses and riders have never been in this arena with lights, crowds music etc until this moment. It shows how wonderful the training has been and the kind treatment the horses have received for them to work willingly together under these conditions. Very remarkable indeed!
Thank you so much for posting this! As an owner and fan of the breed, I read about the prep for this great event. All of these amazing stallions are cherished by the owners, trainers and the world. My own horses carry there self in this frame when excited or waiting for dinner, it is natural and a small part of the many hundreds of reasons we love and admire this great breed of horse!
They are all so gorgeous! Friesians have a natural tendacy to tuck in - part of the confirmation. @hisantidrug should do a little research before opening their mouth.
Thank you for filming this beautiful event...we were not allowed to have video equipment in the warm up areas, so I was not able to tape it myself. You did a wonderful job with your video and I am grateful that you posted it!
As an owner of one of the stallions performing and knowing how cherished he is by both myself and his trainer, I say shame on you, hisantidrug for making such a nasty generalized remark! You obviously have no experience with the conformation of the Friesian horse or it's natural headset. This was a wonderful performance filled with love and respect for these amazing stallions and we are blessed to have these horses as a part of our lives!
Wow, what a wonderful experience to be able to see in person. Thank you so much for posting. I have a 2 y.o. Friesian filly and can't wait to train her to ride.
@hisantidrug Rolkur or lack thereof is more accurately determined by analyzing the way the hind legs track with the front legs. The heads were behind the vertical but no tucked hips or dragging hinds.
Wow, thanks for this great video. Good job.. better even than the FEI website... (for some reason they kept scanning to the orchestra!) That is the best choreographing i have ever seen.. stunning animals.. wonderful to watch such talent. They should be very proud of a job WELL DONE!
Stunning vid! And so beautiful...wow. I only wish the woman who starts first would keep her freakin hands still. Its really distracting and it looks very painful for the horse. Otherwise a lovely performance
