Heather, I am curious to see the reactions of your students. I know being exposed to deaf adults and professionals really does make a impact on the students. It allows them to explore their future and interest. At the same time, it also makes them realize what they can do- even if they're deaf. The deaf history part that you were going to do a power point presentation will, I am sure, help instill some deaf pride in your students- the realization that they have a heritage themselves.
