Actually, i meant "bad" as in the slang term. Bad meaning friggin ridiculously bad ass! And for the record Ande1718, i do understand music rather well.
This line up is one of my favorites of steve coleman's, i used to study this stuff in school. Its legendary music!
looking at my previous post though, i can see how easy it is to interpret what i said as a negative comment though, i should have been more specific. lesson learned.
I have to admit after I posted I thought maybe thats what you meant. I got a little defensive there. Lesson learned for me too. Glad we can agree that Steve C is a legend.
THIS IS SO AWESOME!! My dad and I were listening to this in his car on cassette tape. It was so epic! Does anyone have a link they could send me for "the opening way" or anything just like this? I have "World Expansion" and "Motherland Pulse" but I'm digging this stuff more. any suggestions? Thanks for uploading
mejor banda Five Elements, recordando esos bellos tiempos de Gene Lake, Marvin Smith,Reggie Washington,James Wiedman,Ravi Coltrane. Mathew Garrison, Ralph Alessi
What you don't know is that Andy Milne had his finger operated on that day in France and still killed!! Check out his right hand. It was all gauged up. Bad dude! I remember that hit. David Dyson
David, you killed, too. I saw you guys on the same tour in Cologne and you definitely did a great job. Very different from Anthony Tidd, another widely underrated bassist.
yes i remember they played in holland too (at het paard in the hague) with andy with 4 fingers only useable on his right hand but it was still amazing
