Ross has had several dermabrasions or lazer peels on her face over the years. That tends to lighten the skin. It is a form of scarring. She has had raised moles removed and has had some botox (apparently) but It is doubtful that she has had a lot of work done. She has the same nose. She also had some filling in her face to erase her smile lines.
