Potash??? LOL, that's not potash! Those are plain wood ashes. Potash is potassium carbonate (which can be made from wood ash but I highly doubt you did that!)

i dont think sunflower seeds would compost well,they'd just endup commin up in the garden the next yr. the husks of the seeds would be fine i guess. i have tomatoe plants commin up in random spots from wut i mixed in it last yr. they are hybrids tho. i only have 8 heirloom tom plants this yr i'll harvest the seeds from

I use my push mower like you did. btw it's doing it the hard way with only one good arm but you got it done anyway. I love gardening, great video.

Oh yeah brother. I also am gonna start picking up leaves and grass clippings from my neighbors. That is good stuff right there. Remember to turn it and wet it about ever week.

its gonna get tilled into once i get all the leaves done. i'll probly have a rediculous amount once i'm completely done...i'm blowing & raking my neighbors yard tomorrow for the leaves too i need to hit mine again too. good luck with urs!
