McCartney is more superficial than a "sellout". In any case, he made some of the greatest music in rock history. In this genre, he is without question one of the best vocalists, bass players, and songwriters. Furthermore, he was an extremely influential member of one of the most influential band in the history of rock music and is capable of giving exceptional live performances.
You can't be talking about his last album Electric Arguments, because that is one of the best albums he's ever made. Clearly you know nothing about music, or even what selling out means. Show respect to a living legend and quit embarrassing yourself.
Yes forget about admiring musicians that have brought joy into your lives. Be bitter and log onto YouTube and complain! That's truly the way to go. Because you know this happiness thing is way overrated. Do something with your lives. Log in and bitch bitch bitch, because that is doing something with your life!
..........does anybody know what exactly that Magnatone amp/cab is ??????......is it some custom made one-off with a massive logo because all the info on-line states he uses a Magnatone 280 and thats a 2 x 12 combo....???
Thanks for sharing this vid, showing another awesome perfomance by NEIL YOUNG , though slightly spoiled by someone who was not there for fun, just to show off and limit NEIL's stage movements with 'crocodile ' or ' snake ' , I mean ridiculous false hugs !
Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but that's what I think !
I was in the 2nd row and saw Neil give Paul a hug stage right just before the song. Absolutely incredible set with this unbelievable finish. Two of my favourite artists.
Thanks for posting this. I was there and it was a great thrill. Neil went off the side of the stage just before the song - obviously to set things up. Great end to the show - Just wonderful!
Neil and Paul have performed together before - a few years back at one of Neil's annual Bridge School benefits. YouTube has a duet of them singing "only Love Can Break Your Heart".
They're also long-standing family friends, Neil being a old mate of Linda M since her photography days on the 1960s LA scene.
Immense. Would have loved to be in that audience. Energy, man

Paul is a showman.. he comes from a time of show business.. 1957 he started his musical career.. you cant hold that against him.
plus we all get old and look a bit silly from time to time.. but i bet you he does more in a day than you will ever do in a life time

Totally agree, Paul McCartney is a sell-out. Not debatable, all you have to do is look at his last record... Dad at a wedding dance, much?

Out of this world is an over-used phrase, but in over 50 years of concert-going this performance was just that.
Absolutely blew me away, even though no Cortez!
Also I'd been worried that no-one could compare to Crazy Horse, but these guys were that good.
