On the subject of metallica the 2 really shouldn't be compared, metal has evolved significantly and kse is "metalcore, that's what makes it American" - Bjorne. Metallica is slower, and not as loud, with more negative vocals. Kse is fast, loud, and maintains a positive yet independent attitude as a whole. Jesse Leach's vocals shaped the band with those types of lyrics and Howard adapted to the style nicely.
