Struggling with a log in that manner, is about the surest way to rupture a disc in your back, as any. It was painful to watch. A 2 wheel dolly would have gotten the log to the splitter much easier. Moving the splitter to the wood pile is not a bad idea either. Now, THAT'S the real deal.
