  • I have this VHS!! lol..what year was this?

  • This brings me back

  • SONG Y U GET STUCK IN MY HEAD

  • I wish that someone would upload the whole live-action 101 Dalmatians Sing-a-Long thing - the song "Bow-Wow Ball" is SO catchy!

  • Gotta love the bird with the dunce hat. He is so amusing.

  • but i dunno all tha songs!

  • Is it wrong that I actually still watch these sing alongs, even though I'm 23. I just love the old Disney movies and the old Disney movie songs

  • @loey12886 I have a mental disability and love Disney. I'm 22 years old and love Disney!

  • @edwardchen2009 nothing wrong with that

  • @loey12886 Is this the August 14, 1990 or the March 6, 1987 copy of the bare necessities?

  • @edwardchen2009 I have no idea, but I want to say 1987. you can look it up online, think it might tell you

  • @loey12886 This doesn't say on-line.

  • @edwardchen2009 try googling this, it will give you the answer your looking for

  • @loey12886 Really?

  • How is the owl floating? XD He's holding things with his wings.

  • I REMEMEBER THE WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO AWESOME!!!! now if i can find the entire video on youtube ill be happy...

  • I watched about ten seconds of this before I just said f**k it and went to my closet to get the VHS for this. LoL

  • It's Professor Owl!!! Bloody hell, how old do I feel?

  • I just turned 20 last week, and I am in tears of joy at rediscovering this

  • can you get norwegian version?

  • what is the name off this song?

  • THIS SONG HAS BEEN LEFT IN THE DARK ABYSS OF MY SUBCONCOUS TO PROTECT MY BRAIN!!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!! I have nothing against this vid, in fact, i used to watch them allot because my parents taught music, and I thought they were fun, but nothing about the intro struck me as disney, due to the modernized animation and synth music. It might have been the fact that the music is INCREDIBLY REPETITIVE!!!!!!!! Although I respect everyone elses' opinion.

  • wow, i haven't seen this in more than fifteen years....

  • When I heard this for the first time, tears came to my eyes I swear. I remembered the whole damn song, haha. Wow, memories are great

  • I'm so scared of this Owl! I have no idea why, I think I was just forced to watch the tapes too often.

  • Nostalgia is killing me here. Wow. I had no idea I had so much emotion invested into this series of videos.

  • I love the Owl!

  • cool

  • I REMEMBER THIS!!!!

  • I don't get it, besides the title, whats the point of uploading the same opening?

  • I used to LOVE these as a little girl-I had loads of them!

  • i remember watching this when i was like 4 im 13 now...so many memories. god bless you for uploading this!

  • omg i watched this all the time when i was 4!!! this brings back sooo many memeories!!!

  • if disney was smart theyd have professor owl in a major movie!!! he is gangsta

  • Is this the August 14, 1990 print?

  • Professor Owl for President!

  • You mean for this show, eh?

  • Yes!

  • @film017forever President of the US as well.

  • Love the opening!

  • This is NOT fair. They never leave the WDHV logo intact on the Sing Along Songs DVDs!

For systemoperator, let me guess -- they probably didn't want that because some other such logo is already on the DVD.

  • Actually, on the You Can Fly DVD, it has the 1986 WDHV logo.

  • Is this the 1990 print of the Bare Necessities or the 1987 copy?

  • It's actually the DVD print.

  • Does the DVD print of The Bare Necessities have the 1986 WDHV logo? I must assume that some of the DVD prints or 1990 films must have the 1990 short DSAS promo.

  • Unfortunately, You Can Fly was the only DVD to include the WDHV logo. I am quite certain that every other DSAS DVD leaves it out.

  • Really? Are you sure?

  • yeah that's what I was thinking it's in pristine condition and ultra high quality

  • I love how they give you the option for standard or high quality. Personally I enjoy high quality. Anyway thanks film017forever, your really bringing us back to our childhood.

  • I love Disney!

  • Me too! I love the old Disney cartoons and films. Just Melody and Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom both from 1953 in the opening.

  • Agreed!

  • Clever thing - hiding the general intro video for ALL Disney sing-alongs under a false title.

  • OMG! this is my favorite part of the whole tape! =*[
