@Firefox1095 You are quite right. However to save its life, we looked after it. When it was better I could have applied for a licence to own it. It did get better and needed lots more space and time than I was prepared to give it, and as I was not confident it could catch its own pray, we gave it to a rescue centre.

So saved an owls life and had a great experiance. :)

Better bot... These creatures aren't you ordinary parrot... They deserve much more attention and SPACE, and you have to feed them mice ! so...

considering that some owls are endangered, you might reconsider to petting a budgie or another parrot.

Yes visibly full recovery on the leg.

We had it for 4 months but I was concerned that it could not catch live pray and not having an aviary we ended up giving it to a rescue centre for them to deal with.

It was in the cage while it recovered and then daily flying sessions in my workshop. When fully recovered we gave it to a resuce centre.
