I totally agree....the whole movie was worth the ending itself. I repeat it over and over. This movie grows on you. When I first saw it many years ago, I found it sort of boring as so many people do. But I recently rediscovered it on cable and now I am hooked. William Hurt is the greatest actor ever-his face says it all ! And the nostalgic music, what a combination...
