@hoseaB People do that to make the song sound "FULL" on DVD. All artists are doing this now, even secular artists. It's hard to produce a clear, quality sound for DVD or LIVE television because it doesn't sound the same when you hear it on DVD or TV as it does when you're present live so to prevent this, people sing over their tracks to give it a clear more QUALITY sound.

He looks at the heart. Remember Adam & Eve were naked. Our hearts and souls are the things God watches and judges us on. THE MESSAGE, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MESSAGE.
There is nothing wrong with how they're dressed. Let me encourage you to take scripture into context and understand why it came about. Paul introduced these instructions (one set for men and another for women) because there was divisiveness going on in the church with the lines being blurred as to how men and women were to carry and conduct themselves.

Check out the endings of songs like "Gods Favor" and "You Showed Me", I don't believe Twink can do those.
Your talking about that C6# Karen belts, Twinkie could do it and because she does not normally do it does not mean anything. I know she could hit a good A5 Bb5, so going a whole note higher is not a stretch and besides she can go way lower than Karen added to her whistle register.
Well my comments are from actually witnessing what KAREN can do. You on the other hand, are basing yours of of assumption. Karen is WELL KNOWN for her high range, riffs, and runs. But when you pull up or say something about Twink, all you see or hear about is that she is the leader, (very rarely you hear about her runs), and she has a mean Growl. So, until I actually see (by video or in person) that Twink can get as high or higher (as many of you claim) than Karen, my opinion stands firm!
That Eb6 Twinkie hits in superhead in a Clark song, and she does mad effortless. She hit a Bb5 in Endow me 1994, and plenty of A5's and G5# in full chest, Karen hits her highest notes in mix voice, while Twinkie can do them in chest!!!!!!!!!!
Twinkie has more range than Karen. Her lowest note must be at least a f2 and she can go probably to a g6 4 octaves at the very least, and she does a whistle note I think G6 in Jesus is a Love Song Reunion CD that was Twinkie when she does Oh..........................
And yet still, all of the noted that you've made a statement about Still Dont Top Karen! And then again, Karen not only can hit these notes effortlessly, but she is the one who was put in charge of holding down the "Soprano" in the group, and can sing through EVERY song on the cd (in chest voice) and still hit you with a phenomenal high riff or run that is different everytime. Twink tends to get tired and (which is why she was blessed with that low range) has to switch to either alto or tenor.

Where are you coming up with this bottom range stuff? I think you are losing sight of the fact of the matter that started our little debate. Of course I know Twink holds that bottom register, and I'm not saying that she can't hit those high notes, but as far as the hieght, she just doesn't cut it when compared to Karen. When Karen sings, her notes are Flawless! But with Twink, she sounds (1)Scratchy (not all but most of the time), (2)Like she's sing through her nose, and (3)Like she's SCREAMING!
We must remember that the Clark Sisters would not be the Clark Sisters without "TWINKIE" CLARK! For this reason alone, Twinkie is the best Clark Sister. Karen learned much of her style from Twinkie. If you look back at their first live performance of "Is My Living in Vain" (When they had on those pink dresses) you will see Karen Looking at Twinkie with Admiration. Most of Dorinda's songs are written by Twinkie. And the Clark Sister that really believed in JAcky's vocal abilities is Twinkie.
WRONG!!! God is the one who has brought the Clarks this far. And everyone is making it seem like Twink is some type of "god" or something. I know that she is the one who taught them, but as far as NOW, Karen is the one who's been holding down the "crazyness" as far as vocal ability. God Bless and Be Blessed!

I'm not just giving an opinion but i'm telling you what the others sisters have already said. There are so many things that people do not know about the sisters. Listen to what they have to say about it, especially what they have to say when Twinkie left the clark sisters..don't take my word for it..listen to what they have to say.
GOD had already mapped out our life stories in the great Book Of Life. He put Twink in that standpoint, and if he had already written that they were going to be as great as they are now, it was going to come to pass REGARDLESS! No 1 person can teach 3 people 3 different styles of singing, because as you can see they all have grown into VERY diverse styles. Only they can do what they do...no one else can teach you how to do you. It was in his plan....it was going to happen with or without her.

I understand what you're saying but God is not a magician. The sisters didn't just come out of the womb singing the way they do. God has his will for our lives and he places individuals in our lives to help mold, lead and guide us. In this case it was Dr. Moss-Clark and Twinkie as far as music is concerned. He could of used anybody but he used them to help mold and shape the sisters individuals gifts and that's it. If u raise a child in the way that he should go he should not depart from it.
Magician? What does that have to do with the plan that God has made for us? And even in that sense, I don't know why he wouldn't be. Yes he puts people in our live that have a great impact on our outcome, BUT even if those people weren't in our lives, the Lord would still have his own way. It was in his WILL, and just in case you didn't know, his will WILL be done...no matter what circumstances, people, trials/tribulations come into our lives. Back in Paul's day, this manner of dress to separate oneself from 'commoners' was cautioned against because in the Kingdom, no believer is any better than another believer.
In this event with the Clark Sisters, they are worshipping God. Sure, they're dressed nicely and the hair is coiffed, but surely the INTENT is not to appear better than somone else to to make someone else uncomfortable.
The messages they're delivering are all truly centered around God's glorification, not their own.

@hoseaB People do that to make the song sound "FULL" on DVD. All artists are doing this now, even secular artists. It's hard to produce a clear, quality sound for DVD or LIVE television because it doesn't sound the same when you hear it on DVD or TV as it does when you're present live so to prevent this, people sing over their tracks to give it a clear more QUALITY sound.

There is nothing wrong with how they're dressed. Let me encourage you to take scripture into context and understand why it came about. Paul introduced these instructions (one set for men and another for women) because there was divisiveness going on in the church with the lines being blurred as to how men and women were to carry and conduct themselves.

Because some women (probably) used their manner of dress and adornment to distract or entice the men, they were encouraged to be mindful of their manner of dress.
Other women used expensive clothes, fancy hairstyles and such to make poor women feel bad or less than all while elevating themselves. (In other words, they adorned themselves the way they did to make themselves appear better than everyone else, which is certainly a distraction).

The only time the bible says this is to Mary no one else "Blessed and highly favored" So why do we always run around saying this? For many years, Why? Luke 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, [thou that art] highly favoured, the Lord [is] with thee: blessed [art] thou among women. This Comes the closest to it. This was a quote from the Angel to Mary Actually her name as a Jew is (Miriam) Mary is a Greek name As Yahshua is Jesus real name. Any way.... This was not said in the word to us she was highly favored (over all women) to carry the Messiah. My momma or URs did not. That's why Miriam was highly favored all are favored yes but she was "HIGHLY" favored. She was found to be suitable pure enough to carry the Messiah. NOOOO! Not to be rude ( because i love Twink to death) and seem like I'm taking Karen's side (which I am because she is my favorite, and the best singer there is), Twink can't get as high as Karen! Check out the endings of songs like "Gods Favor" and "You Showed Me", I don't believe Twink can do those.

Your talking about that C6# Karen belts, Twinkie could do it and because she does not normally do it does not mean anything. I know she could hit a good A5 Bb5, so going a whole note higher is not a stretch and besides she can go way lower than Karen added to her whistle register.

Well my comments are from actually witnessing what KAREN can do. You on the other hand, are basing yours of of assumption. Karen is WELL KNOWN for her high range, riffs, and runs. But when you pull up or say something about Twink, all you see or hear about is that she is the leader, (very rarely you hear about her runs), and she has a mean Growl. So, until I actually see (by video or in person) that Twink can get as high or higher (as many of you claim) than Karen, my opinion stands firm!

That Eb6 Twinkie hits in superhead in a Clark song, and she does mad effortless. She hit a Bb5 in Endow me 1994, and plenty of A5's and G5# in full chest, Karen hits her highest notes in mix voice, while Twinkie can do them in chest!!!!!!!!!!

Twinkie has more range than Karen. Her lowest note must be at least a f2 and she can go probably to a g6 4 octaves at the very least, and she does a whistle note I think G6 in Jesus is a Love Song Reunion CD that was Twinkie when she does Oh..........................

And yet still, all of the noted that you've made a statement about Still Dont Top Karen! And then again, Karen not only can hit these notes effortlessly, but she is the one who was put in charge of holding down the "Soprano" in the group, and can sing through EVERY song on the cd (in chest voice) and still hit you with a phenomenal high riff or run that is different everytime. Twink tends to get tired and (which is why she was blessed with that low range) has to switch to either alto or tenor.

Where are you coming up with this bottom range stuff? I think you are losing sight of the fact of the matter that started our little debate. Of course I know Twink holds that bottom register, and I'm not saying that she can't hit those high notes, but as far as the hieght, she just doesn't cut it when compared to Karen. When Karen sings, her notes are Flawless! But with Twink, she sounds (1)Scratchy (not all but most of the time), (2)Like she's sing through her nose, and (3)Like she's SCREAMING!

We must remember that the Clark Sisters would not be the Clark Sisters without "TWINKIE" CLARK! For this reason alone, Twinkie is the best Clark Sister. Karen learned much of her style from Twinkie. If you look back at their first live performance of "Is My Living in Vain" (When they had on those pink dresses) you will see Karen Looking at Twinkie with Admiration. Most of Dorinda's songs are written by Twinkie. And the Clark Sister that really believed in JAcky's vocal abilities is Twinkie.

WRONG!!! God is the one who has brought the Clarks this far. And everyone is making it seem like Twink is some type of "god" or something. Yes God is the one but we must remember that these type of things don't just happen out of thin air, God used twinkie as a vessel..and had it not been for twinkie's "craziness" in terms of vocal AND musical ability, Karen nor Dorinda would be able to do no where near what they can now vocally..Karen is my favorite vocalist and the rest of yall need not act like she doesn't have a healthy bottom register just like Twinkie but Twinkie has been most underated when she should be most commended.

But I feel that even if Twinkie had not been there with them, or she didn't have that special gift the Lord has bestowed upon her, Karen as well as the others would still have their same ability. (And not to compare them with animals) you can train a dog to do new tricks, but if that wasn't already instilliled in him, he wouldn't be able to do it. Basically if Twink wasn't there they would still be able to do what they do best because it was written by the Almighty as their DESTINY!!!

I disagree, if you watch "The clark sister's unsung" and other interviews when they all deem Twinkie as their main vocal influence and inspiration you'll see. I'm not just giving an opinion but i'm telling you what the others sisters have already said. There are so many things that people do not know about the sisters. Listen to what they have to say about it, especially what they have to say when Twinkie left the clark sisters..don't take my word for it..listen to what they have to say.

GOD had already mapped out our life stories in the great Book Of Life. He put Twink in that standpoint, and if he had already written that they were going to be as great as they are now, it was going to come to pass REGARDLESS! No 1 person can teach 3 people 3 different styles of singing, because as you can see they all have grown into VERY diverse styles. Only they can do what they do...no one else can teach you how to do you. It was in his plan....it was going to happen with or without her.

I see your point, but the reason that they are commending Twinkie is because she is actually here. But my point is that GOD had already planned for the Clarks to be as great as they are. He did NOT need Twink to be there just for Karen and the others to be able to sing like they do. I understand what you're saying but God is not a magician. The sisters didn't just come out of the womb singing the way they do. God has his will for our lives and he places individuals in our lives to help mold, lead and guide us. In this case it was Dr. Moss-Clark and Twinkie as far as music is concerned. He could of used anybody but he used them to help mold and shape the sisters individuals gifts and that's it. If u raise a child in the way that he should go he should not depart from it.

Magician? What does that have to do with the plan that God has made for us? And even in that sense, I don't know why he wouldn't be. Yes he puts people in our live that have a great impact on our outcome, BUT even if those people weren't in our lives, the Lord would still have his own way. It was in his WILL, and just in case you didn't know, his will WILL be done...no matter what circumstances, people, trials/tribulations come into our lives.
