  • @Jigsaw765

just leave it off when your playing it hahah i did that for a bit! haha

  • Try cutting the 4th pin on the lockout chip. Never fails to fix an nes.

  • 2 things one you can get the connector on ebay for around $10. two you should touch metal before taking it apart if you dont you could shock it (static electricity) most people screw up their consoles by shock.

  • hi there well i hae a question.

my question is if the 72 pin conector works on a european Nes i would like to know

  • it should

  • the PAL nes (european) is pretty much the same thing. it will work.

  • Followed it directly but tyheres still a blinking blue screen! How do you get the whitish-clear gunk off of the shiny thing you put the pin connector on? I tried rubbing alcohol but it won't come off.

  • yep regular old rubbing alcohol dont use alot though

  • Thanks dude I have 2 Nintendos one that I replaced the 72 pin connectors with one I bought off ebay and I never got around to ordering another one for my 2nd NES. Followed every step......well I might have forgotten to clean the "shiny part" on the main board.....put it back together and it works even better then the replacement pins!!Thanks again!

  • no thank you for watching, i;ve been fixing mine like that for years now and for the sub!

  • man i can only get one game to work and thats pro-am

  • You can just take out your pin instead taking out all the guts.

  • FUCK! i wish my dad didn't throw mine out!

  • lol me too x3

  • If you still have the TV cable and power supply, you can get yourself another NES for dirt cheap of ebay. You won't regret it, I know I didn't! =D

  • gotta try this

  • i didnt even know it was possible to fix it lol

  • yeah man! it is! mine didn't work so i was looking stuff up on the internet, it took me 3 trys to film this. i made it back in 2006 but it looked like crap becuz i had a bad camera. then i tried again but my friend has the tape along with my news reporter video where i try to find drugs in the school..too much information? hahha thanks for watching!

  • Very informative, nice one.

Although I would always recommend just buying a new 72 pin connector. It'll last alot longer than repairing the old connector, and is a lot less hassle.

Last time I checked, those 72 pin connectors sell for around £5/$10 on ebay.

  • yeah but some kids can't get them, so i showed them what they could do. plus i even said you can find them on ebay. thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

  • Fair enough.

And so long as you keep making awesome videos,

    I'll keep watching them! ;P

  • haha yeah you can count on that! hopefully a new one a week!

  • good job :D
