Was finding accomodation ever a problem Via de la Plata? we deliberately skipped over this year as it promised to be crazy with pilgrams due to Holy Year. We should benifit from this next year though.

Usually the albergues is pretty empty. Half the time you can sleep at the bottom and use the top bed for your stuff. Only 3 places in the whole VLP have no albergue (hostel). It's getting better as more albergues are been added.

Then again VLP albergues averages 10-15 beds, so you may have a problem during this Holy Year.

@deansumm1 Every route is different. This one is longer, flatter (until Galicia), some places pretty remote, 4 beautiful major cities (Sevilla, Merida, Salamanca, Zamora) and less crowded than Frances. Besides the camino Portuguese, is the only other camino that arrives from the south of Compostela.

No idea. Used to be dead can dance but I had to change it to one from the list of YouTube's royalty free music. There are many that you can preview and choose from for the sound track of your video.
