@chrie1000 Yeah, I got the macbook pro from 2006, and it still runs fine, I don't know why everyone keeps saying it's out of date,,... you can put snow leopard on it, I love it!!1 Apple said it will stay in date for at least 3 more years, It's just not top of the line macbook pro, she said it is equal to the 2008 normal macbook.

aargh i hate my macbook. It looks exactly like a macbook Pro, aluminum shell.. black keypad. The only difference between the one i have and a pro is that its not an internally built battery. You can easily take it off and put on a new one. The one i have has a crappy trackpad. Its hard to move your fingers along the pad (not smooth) and i hate the loud clicks it makes! my brother got a pro and his trackpad makes quieter sounds and easier to slide your fingers on.

Can i change the trackpad?

As far as I know, the only problems encountered are with the iMacs. The macbooks have turned out to be problem free thus far. (atleast according to what I've seen on macforums).

Mac is more for work and editing.. more for like professionals..

Windwos is more for gaming and for beginneers wit computers who cant afford something expensive.. but, windows is more customizable...

in my opinion, i like mac because it runs alot smoother than a PC.

It's not true. The worst problem that the MacBooks had was random shutdowns, but those were resolved a while back with firmware updates.

you can download limewire and mesenger, but its mac messenger, you cant go on web cam on it but theres an alternative called amsn, where you can. mac can use near enough every program that windows does. if there isnt a program for mac that you want, there is most probably an alternative program made by apple.

I think Im going to move over to the Mac side. The force is strong! Microsofts outlook is lets put stuff out on the market and yep we will fix the issues as we go along at a cost to the consumer. Over time your unit will get slower and slower unless you upgrade. Who do you think pays for that? Macs outlook is a VIRUS! WHATS THAT?
