i probably wouldnt have gone to this if my musical theatre teacher hadnt told us how amazing this video was. I am a big fosse fan and im glad i have came across this video. The people who are too ignorant to realize that you were only making this video to make the point that fosse had made a style of dancing that can go with anything. If its 1955 or like 1990's? i am not big on rap so i dont know when this came out but yes i am glad you agree.

"He was Dancing to Hip Hop Music in 1955" - Possibly the fucking stupidest thing I've ever read. As if hip hop/rap is even in the same universe as geniuses like Leonard Bernstein and Bob Fosse. Please, for the love of god, don't try to mix genius with ape stupid thuggery. Disgusting. Go listen to your yin yang twins, get high and sag through life, but leave the intelligent people alone.
Are you a dancer? Cuz that comment was pure ignorance! HIP HOP is genius especially the dance forms that come out of it from popping, bboying to krumpin....
There's a common denominator to american dance.......it all comes from the STREETS! Ballet which is the forefather of jazz dance is EUROPEAN was created in the courtyards not a studio.....
and if you know anything bout FOSSE..he learned like the rest of those kats from what the kids were doing in the STREETS!!!!!
nice. love it. thanks for posting this one, Q. can finally watch youtube from work and am checking out your videos. i knew fosse more for his choreography stuff - don't know if i'd even seen him dance before this, though. nice.
