  • The silent swimming assassin

  • Un jaguar sano es un jaguar feliz...!!!!

  • KITTTEHH! <3

  • look at the color of that. And to those who say jaguars are in arizona that is completely true.

  • This animal has black spots in some of its rosettes....leopards do not have them.

  • Aww at 2:04 its paws are so cute curled like that

  • thats one big gorgeous feline from mexico and central america yeaaah! i've always loved them i can recall a time when i was really little and staying in a native town in the middle of chiapas jungle saw one just running tru... i was scared but it was soooo beautiful...

  • They are in Texas and some believe Arizona now. too.

  • I can recall the day I crossed the Mexican border on a jaguar's back. I was tentative but man did I look graceful mounted on the jaguar's back.

  • then you woke up!

  • RAWR!!! lolz

    too cute<3

  • that's not a jaguar

  • thiss iss ferrari

  • love this replay XD

  • look at the skull shape and paterns, mainly the rosettes and you can tell a jaguar from a leopard

  • what a stunning enclosure, and the fact you can see the jaguar swimming is wonderful,a credit to the zoo on this one.

  • A stunning beast.

What music is this? I want it.

  • It's on the "life aquatic With steve zissou" Soundtrack It's by Mark Mothersbaugh and I think it's called "Ping Island/ Lightening strike rescue Op".

  • Mark Mothersbaugh FTW.

  • Great video and nice enclosure. People are seriously "debating" with a ZOO on what species that is...? Wow. Jaguars are larger than leopards, if I remember correctly, and they are more willing to go into the water. I don't exactly blame them for getting confused between the two though, because they're a bit difficult to tell apart. ( I'm just starting to get the hang of it, I think ) However, I think a zoo would know what type of animal they have... -TBC-

  • It's definitely not a cheetah though, if anyone else thinks that... Cheetahs have a distinct look to them... Large chest, long legs, quite skinny in general... They're built for speed. Also, they have simple spots, rather than the more complex blotch like things that leopards and jaguars have. =) Then again, I've seen people, adults even, call a tiger a lion and vice versa. That one I will never understand... As they look completely different. Anyway, just sharing my thoughts.

  • No it's a opossum get your facts straight moron.

  • LOL seriously.... I can't believe this guy is so stupid to think he knows better than a zoo.

And anyway you can always tell the difference between a Jaquar and a Leopard because of the little dot within the circle rossettes on their coat... plus Jaquars have a bulkier skull (that means head - FYI for the moron lol).

  • Leopards are smaller, and their spots are smaller and less elaborate. You shouldn't call people a jackass unless you know you're right.

  • Lol i went to this zoo once. I think it was the same jaguar. Man I sat there looking at it and mesmerize for 15 minutes. Lol. It's really beautiful in real life.

  • the music makes this vid epic lol

  • I can't help but think it needs to be made funnier somehow.

  • Sturdy guy! Jaguar's body resembles that of a fishing cat. And nice muzik. Makes good cell phone ringtone.

  • Humm, Steve zissou...

  • dahalcon is not a retard you are for many reasons. first THIS IS A JAGUAR!!! do you notice how big it is? jaguars have the biggest spots out of all of them and are the largest by far. this is at a zoo that has a sign that says JAGUAR not a cheetah or a leopard.

  • who says this anywhere near a cheetah and this is a zoo dont question them

  • Sorry to disappoint you blackpearmomo. It's a jaguar alright.

  • If you think this looks anything like a cheetah in build, you are the retard :P

  • People need to pay more attention. I mean if you really look at them it's not THAT hard to tell the difference between a leopard, Jaquar, and Cheetah. Cheetah is the most distinguishable of the 3 because they are smaller, skinner, and have dots instead of rosettets, but MOST OF ALL: They have tear stripes! Neither Leopards or Jaquars have those black stripes down their eyes/muzzle.

  • HELLO!!!

I work at that zoo and i happen to know that woodland park zoo DOES NOT have leopards OR cheetahs

    that is infact a jaguar

the exhibit is called JAGUAR COVE

  • Cool, what job do you got there? And what is the Jaguar's name?

  • i work for Zoocorps, the zoo's high school volunteer program.

as for the name, there are actually three cats in the exhibit and i don't know any of them

  • Their names are Nayla, the female, and Junior, the male.

  • @zoocorps39 How big is that jaguar? in pounds?

you ever been inside this exhibit ??? lol

  • i think since the ZOO posted this video they would know what animal it is. i've been to this zoo. this is the jaguar exhibit.

  • THE PERSON WHO POSTED THIS VIDEO IS THE ZOO!! DO you not think that the zoo that owns this animal would know wether or not it's a jaguar????

  • @blackpearmomo - definatley a jaguar. I also work at a zoo.

  • @blackpearmomo cant a leopard or cheetah swimming your idiot

  • nice zoo, cant tell how big enclosure is but that part looks nice

  • It's so sad, the Jaguars probably like, what am i doing inside this inclosed room, looking out at who knows what? He/she kept examining the glass wall...

  • Beautiful Jaguar. A shame about the music though, it ruins the video.

  • really? i felt it added to the experience

you are right, though, that is one beautiful cat

  • I love jaguars.

  • The pitbulls will die. Im from Colombia and i have a big pitbull.

You dont know and never see a jaguar. Jaguar can kill anything including the most strong and big man and cows of 500kg.

  • did the jaguar fart around :40?!?!? haha

  • He lifted his paw out of the water and dragged it down.

  • ahhhh it wants out :3

  • I'd like to see two pitbulls vs you.

Alternatively I'd like to see you grow up to the mental age of at least 10.

  • poor jaguar was trying to swim out of the glass

  • They put food on a rope/vine so the jaguar would swim - so people could see lol. It's not trying to escape.

  • You don't know that. It's not a poor Jaguar. It lives in a very beautiful rainforest habitat in Seattle. It is safe here. Safe from starving and poachers, yet it gets to live likes it is in the wild because the habitat looks like the rainforest.

  • Beautiful animal! I also wish it could be in the wild, but I know zoos do some good things, educating people about animals and breeding endangered animals.

  • very nice animal

jaguar are the best and good to

  • jaguar are the best of the big cats.... they are fearless and kill just for the fun of it

  • to bad all animals in captivity cant have habitats this nice

  • Woodland park has very good exhibits, the one I have near me is pure crap. They Abused a lot of animals :(

and their exhibits suck! they dont even have proper trees or anything

  • this is a nice exhbit forthe animal and is good to educate people i love these cats

  • If you guys are gonna cry about seeing animals at the zoo, why not go see them in their true environment? There's a reason the animal is captive.

  • I still say that animals should be in their real environment ...

  • The very first bit of the music really made this remind me of Zoo-opolis.

  • çok iyi ya

  • very nice animal

too bad its in captivity :(

  • Why is that too bad if its a nice exhibit for it

  • That's one really nice enclosure, too.

  • i think its a leopard

  • lol its not a leopard

  • Awesome video of my very favorite animal!Thank you very much!!!

  • sembra proprio LUI!

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • Thanks this is amazing footage!!

  • STEVE ZISSOU!!!!

  • it's unreal how beautiful these animals are!
