This is what happens when you let squarenix get there hand on a good franchise apparently they didn't think they had done enough damage to it with Grandia extreme. Its a good thing they seam to have forgotten about this series and consecrated on destroying final fantasy. I mean jpop really? the first two had fantastic music all they had to do was copy that but no they added jpop not to mention giving the game a completely forgettable story gahhhhh!

So far, I haven't gotten too far into the game, but the battle system is fun(and the whole, learning abilities mid-battle thing). The story's kinda 'eh' so far, but I don't hate it. Too bad Miranda and Alonso leave your party. Do you know how badass it would be if you had a mom character fight in the final battle to save the world? Too awesome to happen, apparently. :/
