watching this, nikki obviously didnt read these books...the anger behind her character has way more to do with vanity - the fact that edward wants bella and he never wanted rose (source:midnight sun)and jealousy - the fact that rose wants a baby and a human life more than anything and bella has that opportunity (source: eclipse)..

its more about those things than her being protective. rose is a very self centered character, she even says so herself.

I love interviews with the Cullen cast because you can tell they all get along and all can relate to their characters. Kellan/Emmett, Nikki/Rosalie, and Ashley/Alice really seem to connect with their characters. I think Nikki has taken the time to understand Rosalie and not just see it from Bella's POV which is really hard. All of the Cullen cast seem to have done that because Peter is right. Carlisle cant to just think about Bella he has to think about his whole family and what is best.
