I want to hard mod my xbox but I have a question. After you have put the xbox mod chip and soldered the new hard drive in, can you still add emulators and roms or even isos for xbox games? That's my only question really

That's nothing.. I've got a 750GB drive in mine. Works pretty darn well.

Mine's softmodded, though. Can't seem to find an Xecuter3 CE anymore.

yes, pretty easy providing you know how to install it properly, the hardest thing is finding a chip nowadays

No, it' on the original xbox. It runs playstation games. I played all the way through Resident Evil 2 and as you can see final fantasy 7 runs just fine. I also have metal gear solid, resident evil 3 and chrono cross which all run great.

You can get the emulators just by google searching or through xbins. You can get a torrent full of all the roms.

I keep it updated with the latest T3ch release. I'm not sure exactly which version it was when I filmed this. The skin is MC360 by Team Blackbolt. It's an awesome skin.

PSXbox version 20 or whatever the latest one is. Works great. If played through Resident Evil 2 and I'm in the middle of Final Fantasy 7. No problems so far.

Well, I have a 750gb hard drive on my modded Xbox, they are $130 now on newegg, otherwise you have 500gb ones for like $90 and there are some at $80...and it all goes down from there.

You really don't need a modchip ever since Softmods came out...the only special thing you can do with a modchip is the BIOS modification stuff and so on but if you just want to be able to have a huge hard drive in there and have all your Xbox games backed up plus lots of roms with emulators music and photos you can just softmod and you're done. Mine is softmodded with a 750gb hard drive partitioned with Xbpartitioner using 32k clusters and I don't get any data corruption at all because of that.

I have a 750gb hard drive on mine but mine is softmodded. I have more than a hundred Xbox games there with Xbox media Center, I also have a lot of emulators with thousands of roms (I have every SNES, NES, Genesis, and PC Engine game ever made, plus hundreds of PS1 games and some N64 games), I have arcade emualtor with lots of roms, movies, photos, music etc etc...

You can softmod it yourself if you have a specific game like Splinter Cell, 007 Agent Under Fire or Mechassault, also you would need an Action Replay. You can search for all this on google and something will turn up...
