Magicland Dizzy takes me back to some magical times in my childhood on my Uncle's ZX Spectrum+2. Like other people have mentioned previously, I know this song like the back of my hand too despite having not played it for sometime now. For me, this was the apex of the Dizzy game mould - colourful characters, engaging storyline and it seemed like there was more going on within each screen than Spellbound.
@BagOfMagicFood You talking about the NES game? Yes I know they share title musics but I've honestly not played the NES game so this I've not heard the in-game music.
@Otouto72, you seriously should consider playing Magicland and Spellbound (by this order) or you risk leave a gap in your being. :D
Now, seriously, you missed here 2 of the best Spectrum titles, and they still so playable today that it would be a sin not to try them (in the spectrum version, of course).
Have fun, and, later on, post your experience... :)
@megac4 Missing one classic title is bad enough but TWO! Especially two Dizzy games! I am so ashamed =) Cheers mate, perhaps I'll do a gameplay video of them on my other channel!
Christmas 1990. For some reason that seemed like a magical winter to me. I have such happy memories of playing this game, sometimes alone, sometimes with my friends.
This music puts a smile on my face. Although I cant say its been 20 years since I heard it!. I've returned to the Dizzy games many times in the last 20 years, sometimes on emulation. I also use a brilliant Spectrum music player called Ay Emul. It even has a Dizzy skin!
Were can i get a midi fr this?? I need one so bad!! :) thanks

Best Dizzy game of all time, hands down. And for me probably the most sensational of all.
I can also whistle every note of it (In fact, i can do it for every Dizzy and some other good soundtrack games. :p)
Spellbound is another great title but this one was magic... Oh, the feeling...

@megac4 I never played a Dizzy game after Fantasy World Dizzy so it's safe to say I missed out big time!

@GrandDizzy Great music, one of my personal favourites.
I have that AY Emul as well but only with the default skin, I love to check out this Dizzy skin you have for it, sounds awesome.

Same here. Music was awesome and never seemed to get boring :) I spent too much time playing this when I was a wee one. Better times :D

The scary this is, almost two decades later, I was able to whistle along note-for-note with this music :D
