What do you all think is Miles' best electric period? This one of the late 60s and early 70s or the mid eighties after he took that five year hiatus? I personally feel that his playing never was the same again after he took that long break. His stuff here in the seventies is far more inventive.
Weird seeing Liebman so young! This was my favorite line-up of the "funky abstract" 1972-1975 period, though I do miss Badal Roy's tabla. Thanks so much for posting- amazing!
wow thanks romlofi1, this is much better quality than the other vid i've seen of this concert, does anyone have the other half of this? I have the audio of the full concert and this is only the first half of part 2. some people were kind of booing at the end of the first set, which was super heavy, which is probably why he started it slow and built it up to show the swiss where it all comes from
