1:46 when he's talking about the "Sickly Sweet smell that made you gag", what most people probably don't know is that that matches the description of the smell of dead bodies
i have windows 7 and i have the PC version of max payne and i'm saddened that i cant hear any of the comics so i have to read them, thank you for uploading these
i thank mark did an alright job they could have done better in my eyes i love the frist game but not to much on the sec game. mark should have played the game and the directors should have watched the graphic novel some too i hate how the messing up the 3rd max too it looks gay and the pills should have been in the movie too.
I could remember stepping into the sactum part of the ragna rock level when I was 11 and hearing lupino's rant and the dead bodies around with the creeping music in the background. COuld not stay in the dark for more than 2 minutes after that for about a week. Max Payne scared the crap outta me but loved it and continue to love to this day.
saw the movie yesterday... throughout the whole move I had a big WTF floating over my head. What the fuck is going on in that movie?? it had nothing to do with max payne !!! it was so horrible !! IT HAD NO DO WITH THIS GAME!!! COMPLETE BULLSHIT!!
yeah, i liked the movie, it was good. Could have used more action but i thought mark walberg played a good part. Also, u cant really say that Mark is too innocent to play max. if u know his history you will know that in his teenage years he made his career out of stealing cars.
He has no noir about him, looks too healthy and fit, too in control, no depth to his act. I don't think he really played the game, or got it.
Just look at his face, listen to him speak, he is not the fluent fatalist that has nothing to lose. Max's every word is a headshot. Marky sounds uninterested.
Where's Max's verbosity? The way his words flow uninterrupted, piercing, seducing. Max is a gunslinging writer, broken in heart, soul and mind.
I agree completely. I also think there wasn't enough action to deal with the lulls in the movie. For me, the movie didn't start until Marky climbed out of the river. From then on, it's like an awesome 30minute fan movie... not worth 2 hours... not worth 9 bucks... not worth a sequel.
He killed like what, 10 people in that movie? That is a disgrace to Max Payne. Mark did too much investigating with his head and not enough with his 9mm.
OK, for one, even in the game they say that V was a drug designed for military use. And 2; Punchinello was NOT in the movie, LUPINO WAS, and he was EX military, and he WAS located at Ragna Rok. Did you even watch the movie?!
You know I get this feeling whenever I see Jack Lupino close up in the graphic novel, It looks we're seeing rapper Fat Joe no offense or anything it just kind of resembles him a bit with the face if you minus the tattoo that is.
lmao yeah i was so shocked that he was JIM! i hope woden is in this and all the norse reference. actually i would be more comfrotabl if the writers from the game worked on the movie...

If I was gonna make a faithful adaptation of Max Payne, I pay 90% of the budget to get Gary Busey to play Jack Lupino if it came to it.

My favorite line of the whole game, it has pure Max written all over it.

This takes me back. I love the game (it's tough, but fun), and Lupino was awesome. He' s scary, but at the same time so over the top it's hilarious.

I saw it yesterday... I don't think I've seen a worse game adaptation in my life. They changed the story completely!
Where's the depth of the plot?
Where's the wit and the memorable noir-style metaphors?
where's the badass film-noir music?
Where's the dark Max-Mona romance?
and where, for mo's sake, is all the friggin' ACTION in this film???
If anybody's thinking of seeing it - DON'T GO!!!

"HELLA! Blood... Given to you all...." Possibly the most demonic line i've ever heard in one game... Well one of the most...

i think the perfect max payne would've been that guy who played in "Danger Zone " or something like that, TV series, he was playing a psychic.
