Transformers Generation One went on for over 90 episodes. "War Dawn" is episode number 60, or at least the 60th in line when it was shown here. "The Search for Alpha Trion" was number 48.

The female pink robot is named "Aerial" and appears in the episode "War Dawn" of the

original Transformers series as the girlfriend

of Orion (the red robot).

She does not appear in vehicle mode. Both Orion and Aerial get shot down by Megatron.

Alpha Trion rebuilds them both, Orion into

Optimus Prime and Aerial into Elita One.

Elita One appears in "The Search for Alpha Trion" as the leader of the female autobots.

I watched all 10 episodes of the original Transformers here on Youtube, and I don't remember seeing a female robot. Also I don't ever remember seeing Optimus Prime being built from another robot. I do remember seeing Optimus Prime being rebuilt from himself (plus a truck) 4 million years after his space ship crashed on the earth. KavalSviri, Could you tell me the episode number (not episode name) you are talking about?

In the television show, Optimus Prime was originally a character called Orion Pax, who was morally a much weaker individual. He was rebuilt after a Decepticon attack as Optimus Prime. And "My Sacrifice" is definitely THE song for Optimus.

That's the first Transformers vid I've seen featuring Creed, it's very cool (yeah, I'm a Creed/Alter Bridge fan).

Optimus Prime's resurrection was way too soon (in fact I wish they didn't resurrect him at all!!) for my liking, they should've given Roddy a fair go. His sacrifice on "Dark Awakening" would have been enough, just let a legend like him stay dead...it gives more depth and impact on the characature.
