  • u hold an african flag???? so go live there give your soul to whatever african nation u want to,,,,

  • Her voice is so much deeper….does she smoke?

  • @WalkaboutRen

    irish rye

  • she's wonderfull!!! love her so much!

  • Giga performance...

  • i love you sinead o connor..though i never got the chance to see you in person..I love your music and i grew up listening to you...thank you for opening my eyes to the truth....

  • I feel sorry for those apes that did not evolve...what are the proofs of animals still evolving..dude stop smokin those weeds...ur mind is evolving to mush

  • i love you sinead!!!!!! the greatest rocker on earth...

i know you dont like to be famous and adored but to be honest I can't get enough of you....

I still love you..and admire you being a very good mother.... thanks for your music...

  • best singer of her genaration

  • she is a new sinead--but i missed the shaved head that is sooo outspoken but she is better now...good sinead...good to have you back and hear your music

  • People sure get involved in arguments about reality.

  • Praise Yeshua [Jesus] "JHWH Saves" the Almighty Alpha and The Omega.

  • I love(d) Sinead so much, but I'm rather disappointed in the Theology album. Firstly I don't like religion, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad album. But I thought the album missed something that her previous albums all had. Those had a certain... history to them, a feeling of tradition, very strong lyrics and emotion. She sings ok on Theology, but the music and lyrics just aren't as inspirational as before. They are basically just religious texts, which just isn't very special imo.

  • The IRONY. What could have more history or tradition than recordings inspired by the old testament?

  • Because I think the Irish traditionals on her previous albums have a much bigger feeling of tradition, history and emotion to them. They sounded much more personal. Like I said in my previous comment; the new songs are just religious texts to me, which isn't very interesting.

  • Perhaps she intimately knows the Creator of the universe. That's kind of special, imo.

  • Well, firstly, I don't believe in those fairytales.

Secondly, even if that were to be true, I still think her new religiously infused music by far isn't as good as the music she once made.

  • Do you walk? Talk? Think? Create? hate? Love? You see this world, and don't believe what fairytales?

But, do you believe that everything came out of nothing and that Evolution is true? That, basically, your great great great... grandmother was a rock? We are related to monkeys? How's your feeling on whether that's a fairy tale?

  • I don't think that debate is appropriate in the comments for this vid. But yes, evolution is a proven fact. And your remark about great grandmothers very effectively shows that you have no clue whatsoever what evolution through natural selection is all about, so I will not go into that with you. You just stick to 'goddunnit' and we'll both be on our merry way.

  • Natural selection, otherwise known as "micro-evolution" is an obvious fact, just about. This is adaptation to the environment - and the big thing about it is that it is LOSS of genetic information, not gain. You cannot show ANY thing, fossil or otherwise, that has a GAIN of genetic information.

Appropriate? OK. But I think it's always appropriate to lead people to the truth.

Macro evolution, one animal evolving into another, is FAR from fact - it is absurd when looking at te evidence!

  • You don't understand it. There is no relevant difference between the terms. 'Microevolution' refers to mutations in the genepool that cause small changes, small enough that it doesn't result in a new species. 'Macroevolution' refers to changes in the genepool that are so large that the animal would not be able to reproduce with its ancestors (by which it is considered a new species). Both 'kinds' of evolution happen in the same way. Gain or loss is irrelevant, it's purely about adaptation.

  • Very very common misconception no doubt! Small versus large change! Wrong!

Your definition of macroevolution is completely opposed to the theory - whereby small changes over millions of years add up to big change - to a different species as you claim. It's crazy!

You will no doubt now "remember" that, oh yes, the millions of years... that is the magic bullet, and the only magic bullet for Evolutionists - millions and billions of years - it does magic ya know?

    Irrelevant! I.e., truth?

  • Changes happening gradually over a very long time. Once those changes to the genepool get large enough, it is considered a new species. That's how it works I'm afraid. I thought that would be obvious, but probably everything you know about evolution comes from christian apologists, who are usually wong.

Oh yeah, creationists still believe that the earth is 6000 years old! I forgot that ignorant belief. And talking about magic, the only one who need magic to explain things are the religious.

  • "If you tell people the same lie over and over enough, eventually they will believe it..."

    - Adolf Hitler

Ardent evolutionist, desiring to make the 'perfect race' by 'helping' evolution along.

Your definition of species is wrong.

Those silly creationists, haven't they been listening to their schooling, to the TV, to the news reports?

You have no idea how much "magic" you are trusting in for evolution!

Your ultimate belief is that NOTHING created this all?

Mine is that God did. Magic?

  • Two things:

    1) Bringing Hitler into a discussion = Godwin's law.

    2) Who or what created the creator. It only pushes the problem one step back.

You have to ask yourself WHY you believe in what you believe. Watch /watch?v=xyE8wUteFA4 on YouTube.

  • there is no magic that makes me trust in evolution

there is proof of animals evolving, actually we can even see evolution happening today

you say that "If you tell people the same lie over and over enough, eventually they will believe it...", well your god is one of those lies, live with it

  • I didn't hear the gospel message until my 40's.... and didn't come to believe easily. Nobody was going to pull the wool over my eyes so to speak.

What you can see today is adaptation - beaks of birds on Galapagos Island "becoming" longer due to environmental conditions. But that is simple adaptation, the shorter beaked birds die off. No new genetic information. No such thing as one animal evolving into another. No such evidence.

I hope you look into it more is all. Both God and Evolution.

  • there is no creator of the universe

  • which is the name of this song?

  • Sinéad O'Connor - Jeremiah (something beautiful) on the Theology album.

  • She shaved her head as a protest to the producers; they told her she was TOO pretty, and that no one would take her seriously. So, she shaved her head.

  • but she's still pretty ;)

  • i couldnt agree with sineads theological view points more. having been over dogmatized in my upbringing i thank her for her music and the sense of empathy it brings. God Bless

  • she actually believes in middle eastern mythology?

  • and you actually , I assume by implication, believe in modernist generic mythology?

  • I don't pretend to know this wonderful spirit, but I believe she has found her Savior in spite of religion.

  • peacefull music

  • i like her music she making now is full of light and peace, and i always love her voice

but i miss the other works

  • It shows you how a catholic upbringing can mess up your life for good! Poor girl! She still needs to demonstrate it with a jailbird shaven head. A sensitive soul still licking her wounds from that monster of hippocrate sick fucks called THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!

  • PyePye,

I think this haircut just really suits her very well!

  • Love her! What a beacon of light. She can tell her truth no matter how painful it is for her. I'm so grateful to her.

  • I, too, would love to see the rest of this interview as I cannot access it either. Counting down the days until her concert at Strathmore!

  • Most beautiful female singing voice in the world imho

  • Amy Lee is a sniveling, whiny brat, and that's exactly how she sings.

  • ciao, fandango, dove trovo il dvd se è in commercio?

  • fandango, can u please post the rest of the interview? I don't seem to be able to access it on her website. TIA.

  • beautiful song! very nice
