by the way he wasnt fluent in 5 languages.key word is fluency:to read write talk n understand a language FULLY.he only use phrases and words in farsi,turkish,hindi etc for his nasheed songs in his album only when he is singing.to sing in different language anyone can do it.but in reality, he only understood n speak english fully.

people calm down! Sami yusuf is a human being. I like his music, but in the end of the day its our prophet i take as a role model for life. You should do the same instead of pointing out his mistakes...who are you, a judge of god? if you dont like his music, his manner, etc then jus forget about him.

Shaking hands with the opposite sex is haram for everybody there is a Hadith sahih that a man should rather a nail driven through his head then to touch the palm of a lady so I am also disappointed with sami Yusuf
this is stupid, he is perfectly respectful. Shaking hands is not a crime, it is accepted or It depends on the country. So don't be disappointed because maybe he didn't know it isn't "allowed"

If you watch closely, it's actually him who is reaching to shake hands, not the ladies.But anyway, there is no excuse for him doing this, he could have just told them not to shake hands with him before the start of the program, thats if he is truly a muslim.
