i think it's about a person's descent into insanity...it looked like there was a reference to Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story The Yellow Wallpaper which was a story about a woman's descent into madnes....but then again, that's my inference

I know this is kind of late, but listening to the other version, which Amanda apparently prefers over this one, and thinking of the general influences on the video itself, I'd say it's supposed influence a violently schizophrenic feeling.
