101 Shuffle - In Session with Dave Weckl Band - Freeman on Troyan Drums

Nice left hand shuffle. Unusual to put Gadd fills in a Weckl tune. Could have done more by playing a bit more lyrically around the hits though. A bit too heavy-handed in the fills, but great shuffle.

It´s not a rock tune, and of course it´s a point of view how to play it

I respect your opininion but don´t agree with it, I like the way I play it and always try to do a little bit my own thing.

he seems to be a groove drummer with great chops and sense of time. Is the groove earth shattering? No, but you try to keep the shuffle ghost feel going for over six minutes.
