<3 Jenny Lewis. I heard her play this song solo/acoustic and it broke my heart in the most beautiful way. I think it means that she's, now, going to realize her potential to its fullest. She's going to be herself 100%, and not be content with being someone else's silver lining. The "hooray hooray, I'm you're silver lining" is sarcastic. It's a great song about someone trying to discover herself independent of all her other relationships.

It's funny how even though BG isn't a great singer in the classical sense, he has this great style and distinct personality in his voice that totally forgives any vocal misstep he makes.

I think that's why I like this cover... Jenny Lewis has such a spot-on voice that the contrast with BG's style is great.
