  • "The Sweethearts of Soul"...they truly earned that tag...God love Francine "Peaches" Barker (2005) RIP angel.

  • This is so beautiful......

  • PEACHES DIED IN 2005 R.I.P.

  • YES!!! Waited almost 40 yrs to hear this song again. YES!!!

  • Okay...super Great>>>>Love this song.....

  • This was a Number 21 hit for this great duo - and, for a time, they really gave Marvin Gaye-Tammi Terrell duets a run for the money!

  • YES I REMEMBER THIS SONG WENT MEET MY LOVE BACK IN 1969 AND WE ARE STILL TOGETHER. TERE

  • Yes, I remember the penny quite well! I was the DJ at our fraternity parties in the late 60's and people would bring their favorite records with their name on them. The penny on the needle came in handy to get us through the night. The original "Peaches and Herb"went over real well. Oh yes, everybody got their records back!

  • Hey, if this is really a record playing how come I don't hear any scratches or pops? lol. Does anybody who's old enough remember putting a penny on the needle so the record wouldn't skip?

Oh, one other thing. Let's enjoy the music from our time without giving the younger generation grief because their music doesn't sound the same. Our music didn't sound like our parent's music either and they made the same types of comments that I see on here. All music is real music, no matter the decade.

  • I still play it all the time on my IPod...lol

Reminds me of a rainy ngiht, parked in a car making out listening to oldies and when this one came up omg... good kissing!

  • This is the definitive version of this song and it still sounds great after all these years.

  • MY MOM USE TO PLAY THIS SONG ALL THE TIME

  • Hard to believe that a lot of kids today have never seen a record or a turn table or much less what to do if they had both we are officially old, but just listen to this music its real and timeless. Some good memories growing up in Boyle Heights in LA.

  • Hey, you young whipsnappers! THIS is what a REAL love song sounds like!!! And, this is what a REAL record looks like on a record player!!! One of my fave P&H songs!

  • Hmmmmmmmmmm i just came all over a quiver XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
