Does anyone know what kind of guitar and/or amp Kurt Robertson plays in the studio? The rhythm guitar sounds on "the lads who fought and won" and "culling the herd" are EXACTLY the types of sounds I am trying desperately to get, but I have only come reasonably close by mere chance a couple times, and it's never quite what I was shooting for. Did we give up and ask for hand outs, nope, we endured, educated ourselves, rose up and took over. So if anything us Americans with Irish ancestry are the true testament to Irish grit. The title of this song is "Will Ye No Come Back Again?", their use of the word nae means that what they are singing doesn't even make sense.
