"Funny" thing is, ever since these dirty bombs became popular in the past several years, most of the laws have been changed to incorporate these bombs into them. In case you kids were thinking about trying this at home, production and possession are 15 year felonies, causing damage is a 20 year felony, causing physical injury is a 25 year felony, and causing death is life without parole. Check the laws (and snopes confirms these laws as well) before trying something this dumb as a "prank."

this message is for everyone who isnt aware of the dangers--and fun of this. draino is concentrated soduim hydroxide--a very strong base. it has the same properties of a strong acid. if it comes in contact with your skin t can cuase serious burns. the chemical reaction that it uses is the NAoH and causes a significant heated reaction to occur. so the water is actually above boiling when it detonates. it can cause 3rd degree burns.
