Heard this wonderful song when I was a child! Later it became a real folksong and we played this evergreen very often on beach-parties on my island of Langeoog! One of the best songs I ever have heard on ESC! ciao
Ahhh that melody has stuck with me for over 40 years. I remember the instrumental version which was a huge hit here in the USA. I was only 7 when it come out but it stuck in my head even at that young age. What great music i grew up with in the late 60's.

I wish she had sung it in her native Greek. Her French isn't that great and makes the song less effective than it could be. She has a beautiful voice, but the diction is distracting.
