I have the 3.2 L engine and rejoice at the pump every time I fill up with regular. The reviewer has his own ideas about what the public wants. These ideas are quite different from that of the......public. Please always remember that the in the 2010 quality ranking of car manufacturers, Volvo ranked the highest of all Europeans!!!!

My XC60 rocks! I love it. I can unlock and start my car with the key in my pocket. These guys didn't even talk about City Safe that is stock on every Volvo now, and obviously didn't get the right packages to do a full review. There is one thing I don't like is there is no place to put my sunglasses, but I can live with that! I've owned lots of cars and this is my favorite so far!

If you need sport handleing and a crossover then the Q5 is better, if you don't need the sport hanlding and need off road capability then geet this. Either way both cars are still way better than Mercedes GLK, BMW X3, but the Lexus RX comes close.
Consumer Reports, not giving its best to the XC60 in this review. Damn it, I love this Volvo and all Volvo's they always are the safest and are leaders with quality as well.

I have ordered a XC60 (arriving in March) having road-tested the Audi Q5 and BMWs X3 and X5. Found the BMW very badly put together and came with no gizmos. The Audis had very hard rides and it had either the 2.0 diesel or 2.7 diesel and nothing in between.
The sat nav input controls are horrendous. Except or City Safety, which only clumsy drivers would need, the Audi Q5 is an all around better equipped vehicle.
you can leave the key in you pocket press the brake and hit the start bottom I have the same keep in my Volvo S80
