Thank you for this recipe. I've always been afraid of this cut for some reason, but now that I've seen how absolutely simple it is to prepare, my dinner rotation just got more interesting :D. I liked the bird!
dont do this more than once a week at most,,, why? its the kind of food (red meat) that is responsible for a few cancers including PROSTATE CANCER. best avoided.
This was a very nice recipe idea, and I liked that you had your side dish planned, too. Folks should know that they could follow your exact recipe... raw onions and all and put it into a crock pot for up to 8 hours. Start your mashed potatoes and at that point, take the ribs out, slather them with your sauce/honey of choice and pop them into the oven just to bring the sauce to temp..... only as long as it takes your potatoes to cook. Viola!
