  • I prefer this rendition. It feels more affirmative. More like someone promising to do all that if given a chance. Clapton's feels more wishful.

  • good and fine. Clapton is good? but Wynonna is fine?

  • YOUTUBE "第31屆成大民歌賽 初賽 獨唱組-15. Change The World"song by a Taiwanese girl is good !!

  • I had always known of the Clapton version, but I also listened to Wynonna. When I heard she'd done this song first, I FREAKED. It's like dreams came true!

  • I like this version much better than Clapton's. I like the way she draws out the word "change"...

  • ERIC CLAPTONS IS BETTER

  • Why does it have to be one or the other. This is good. Listen and enjoy. Swear some of you bitching at the opportunity to hear great talent just makes no sense.

  • 3 people don't want to change the world! >=(

  • @RJDallo it's more than that..... The Truth will prevail and what is to be will be,,, Just trust and Believe and the rest does and will follow, with or without them, they either jump on or fall off, one or the other....

  • @rondelespirit Very well put, friend...

  • Both versions are great in term of singing. But when it comes to the arrangement, I prefer Clapton's with its cool electric organ, Clapton's guitar and the complex but beautiful back vocals (I still don't catch the melody though).

  • I like this song this is one you can play and sing around the campfire.

    10 STARS.

  • @keefer2111 .You are so right. I very much enjoy her songs, a lovely woman

  • Sorry, but Clapton is better. When he sing... Im in another world...

  • @kubbak92

    Totally agree with you.

  • Clapton wouldn't have had a "version" if this lady didn't lay down the original vocal arrangement....for others to re-interpret. Great songwriters, Great vocal by Wy, Great arrangement by babyface, Great interpretation by Clapton...All deserve props! All great at what they do!

  • You're 100% correct. I can say, however that this is my favorite version of the song.

  • She seeds it. Baby Face waters it. Such a miracle might have bloomed because Clapton had poured the day of the sun.

  • Wow,

Clapton's is way better. WJ seems to fall aleep halfway through this song.

  • I like both versions. That's the beauty of a song brilliantly written.

  • @Cathyelliott ..so true..most sensible opinion in here

  • I don't like her version, I absolutley love Clapton's version!

  • Good. Everybody's different.

  • I know, I'm not saying I hate it but this isn't my genre. She's good, don't get me wrong, but I like Clapton.I know everyone's different.

  • really surprised i cant find more of her on here...she does an awesome job on most of the songs she sings......beautiful person inside and out...

  • i know she had a revalations album i can't find it anywhere.

  • Not bad, but Clapton's version is superior.

  • I like claptons version, but I dissagree. This verison is much better. Clapton is certianly one of the greatest guitar players ever, but his voice is nowhere near as soulful as Wy's.

  • @FabRadio It's not just about Clapton's voice, it's the accompaniment. This song lacks variation and aesthetics, the beat is flat and fails to emphasize the song's better parts.

As good as Wynonna's voice is, I really don't care for this version at all. Doesn't sound as impactful, sorry.

  • @PrimalLight2323 I dissagree with everything you said. I think compared to the music AND voice on this one, Claptons version sounds like a busker outside Wembley tube station. I think his version was good, but this is much finer!

  • excellent!

  • LOVE Wy's version of this song!!!

  • I love this song! I totally agree, great singing and style! Wynonna is great...love her!!

  • It's all good! Great style her songs & singin'

makes me smile again. Thanks from New Zealand

  • kidgumbo, you should probably also be saying that of your boy eric clapton since he didn't write it either. This beautiful song was written by wayne kirkpatrick, tommy sims and gordon kennedy. What a timeless classic. peace!

  • Wynonna Judd actually recorded it before Clapton. Way to go on that research, buddy.

  • God those pictures of her are stunning

  • I love Wynonna Judd

  • I really love this song
